It has been a busy few weeks here at It's a nomad life, with lots of new stock finding it's way onto the shop floor. This week we celebrated six months of our antiques shop in Shrewsbury being open. We are so grateful to all our customers for their support so far! 

We like to keep our customers informed of what's going on in our shop and we are passionate about the items we sell! Alongside the blog on our website Vicky writes a regular blog for Love Shrewsbury - here's one all about Pitcairn Island! Enjoy!.......

The last few weeks seem to have flown by and we are delighted that we are now OPEN! It's been a week now and we are over the moon that so many lovely customers have come to see us and said so many nice things about our shop.

It's been a busy couple of weeks or so since our last blog entry! We have been working our socks off to get the shop looking ship shape so that we can open very soon.

As you can see the shop signage is now in place...and the interior is looking pretty good too (even if we do say ourselves!). It is amazing what a lick of paint - and the removal of 1970's false ceiling can do!

Last month we shared the news that we are opening our new shop in Shrewsbury soon.

Things are starting to take shape despite some very sad news. A dear friend, Nicholas Douglas (below) who was heavily involved with the shop and was a big part of the inspiration behind It's a Nomad Life, sadly passed away very unexpectedly on the 28th July.

It's been a busy few weeks at It's a Nomad Life - and that's why we've been so quiet on our blog. Sorry folks!
